Welcome to Southern Comfort, a brand new (2026) beach house located a 2-minute walk from spectacular Ten Bay Beach.  Ten Bay Beach is one of the few world-class beaches on the Caribbean (leeward) side of the island.  The water here is warm, calm, and famously clear. Absolutely perfect for grabbing your float, your favorite drink and letting the gentle waves put you in a Southern Comfort state of mind. 

Southern Comfort’s main living area is on the top floor with beautiful views of the Caribbean. The bright and airy Great Room with its fifteen-foot vaulted ceiling is the heart of the home, designed with a relaxed coastal vibe that instantly puts you in vacation mode. Comfortable seating invites you to unwind after a day at the beach, while large windows bring in natural light and refreshing ocean breezes. Whether you're watching a movie on the large screen TV or spending time with loved ones, this space is made for connection and comfort.  

The fully equipped kitchen offers everything you need to prepare meals with ease. With ample counter space and modern appliances, it’s perfect for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners. Its open layout in the great room keeps you connected, making it easy to entertain while you cook. It offers a long breakfast bar with 4 stools and a nice size island with an additional 2 stools. The dining area comfortably seats six and is ideal for gathering over meals, board games, or planning the next beach day.  There is also a powder room on this level.

The screened-in balcony, just off the great room, is perfect for morning coffee, dinner at the six seater teak table and chairs or evening relaxation without the bugs while letting your mind drift with the sea breeze.  For breathtaking views, take the spiral stair up to the crow’s nest—an unforgettable highlight of the home. It’s the perfect spot to watch the sunset, unwind at the end of the day, and soak in the beauty of the surrounding area.  Be sure to catch the spectacular starry nights that Eleuthera is known for.  There is no better place to sit and stargaze. 

On the first floor you will find the master bedroom. It features a comfortable queen bed, its own smart TV and an ensuite full bathroom with a double vanity and walk in shower. Step out onto your shared attached balcony to enjoy fresh air and quiet moments, making this space perfect for relaxing and recharging.  

The second bedroom also features a comfortable queen bed along with its own smart TV. With direct access to the attached balcony, guests can enjoy a quiet escape to sip coffee and take in the fresh coastal air. The third bedroom is playfully perfect for our younger guests featuring a twin-over-full bunk bed that comfortably sleeps multiple guests. It’s a space designed for a little adventure, complete with its own smart TV and video games. The second and third bedrooms share a full bath with a shower/tub combination and plenty of counter space. 

Amenities at Southern Comfort include AC throughout, fast Starlink WIFI, smart TVs in each room, ceiling fans, washer/dryer, a grill to BBQ your fresh catch, beach chairs, beach towels, floats, coolers and an outdoor shower.

The village of Savannah Sound, with its excellent grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters, is just a few minutes away by car.  The town of Palmetto Point, less than 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores restaurants and the island’s best medical clinic.  The town of Governors Harbour, the main town on the island, just 15 minutes by car from the property, has excellent restaurants, grocery stores, liquor stores, ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and much more. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor.  Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street.  You won’t want to miss it.
