Welcome to Savannah Sunset, an oceanfront estate with pool on Little Bay. Enter into our great room, which is bursting with spectacular views of the Caribbean from every pane of the floor-to-ceiling windows. The extra-large great room includes an open kitchen, dining, and living area, all generously proportioned and filled with every amenity you could possibly need. Prepare your catch of the day in our state of the art kitchen, equipped with five-burner gas range, two wall ovens, French-door refrigerator, 5-gallon water cooler, blender and loads of prep and storage space.
Savannah Sunset’s floor plan is perfect for large family gatherings. Enjoy many meals with the family at the large dining are with ocean view (the dining room table seats 8, with additional seating in the adjacent screen room if needed). Beside the dining area is the living area, with sofa and chair seating for six. Spend hours relaxing, reading, and enjoying the spectacular views from this lovely space with its wall of windows facing west.
The room we love best is our large, screened-in porch, just off the great room dining area, which projects out toward the sea and has spectacular ocean views on all three sides. It is furnished with wicker sofa and chairs, and a dining room table that seats four. Enjoy the sea breeze and watch the sunset over the Caribbean from this wonderful space.
The main level of the house also has two large bedrooms, both with king beds, en-suite bathrooms, and flat-screen satellite TVs. One bedroom has an ocean view and one has a garden view.
There is also a separate powder room on this level, just off the great room. Beside it is a foyer where we keep beach towels and water toys. The foyer opens out to the board walk which takes you down our oceanfront recreation area (more on that later).
From the main level, take the spacious nautically themed stairwell down to the lower level. This level features an extra-large family room equipped with comfortable sofas, big TV, and a vast collection of games, books, and other entertainment.
Beside the family room is an over-sized bedroom that sleeps up to 6. This bright and cheerful room is equipped with a queen bed, two twin beds, and two trundle beds. It has a full bathroom.
The lower level is also equipped with a separate laundry room with washer and dryer.
The best feature of Savannah Sunset is the oceanfront recreation area on the Caribbean. Here we have a covered oceanfront gazebo four seaside lounging and entertaining. There is also a waterfront platform. This protected area is great for swimming year-round, and offers excellent snorkeling and other water sports right in your back yard. There is also a new boat ramp, kayaks, and a brand new infinity pool with a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea.
Ready to hit the beach? Little Bay Beach, our little nearby beach, is 150 yards down the shore from Savannah Sunset House, or 3/10’s of a mile by dirt road. Walk there through the water at low tide, or ride on there on one of our bicycles. Ten Bay Beach, a mile-long Caribbean-side beach, is 3 or 4 minutes away by car.
Amenities at Savannah Sunset include AC throughout, WIFI, satellite TV, cell phone, gas grill, kayaks, bikes, snorkel gear, beach chairs, crib, booster seat, playpen, generator and more.
Savannah Sunset is located just 20 minutes from Governors Harbour, the main town on Eleuthera has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. You won’t want to miss it. The town of Palmetto Point, just 10 minutes from the house, has several smaller stores and a good restaurant.
Five minutes away by car is Savannah Sound where there is another excellent new oceanfront restaurant, Fishbone Beach Bar and Grill, which is open year-round. There's also a great new grocery store, Midway Cost Cutters.

The pool at this vacation rental makes the experience. We watched the sunset from the pool more than once. Snorkeling right off the deck was also very good. The home itself was a bit stuffy when we arrived, but fine once aired out and when the AC ran in the rooms. The kitchen was also spacious and easy to use. We also enjoyed the large dining table for dinners together.

Savannah Sunset was perfect for our family of 5 plus my mom. The screened in porch was where I spent most of my time as it had amazing views (and sunsets) and a nice breeze. The pool was great to have. It was too windy to swim out front every day except one, but it was a short drive (10 mins) to a few of the most amazing and empty beaches I have ever seen. On the day it was calm it was great snorkeling right in front of the house. There is a little grocery store nearby, and the location near the center of the island allows you to see both ends of the island. It is a farther drive from the airport and if you want to explore Harbour Island. The staff was helpful and responsive to any questions we had. The driveway was a little dicey but the house was very quiet and peaceful. Everyone on the island was amazing. I wish I was sitting on the screened porch right now!

First off the location views were amazing over looking the Caribbean side of the Island. Getting to the house a little tricky,not many road signs. The driveway to home was super bumpy. It actually caused battery cables on rental to loosen a few times. The home itself need a little TLC, AC in kitchen living room wasn’t working properly and needed serviced a few times. The Pool was nice but needed to be maintained better, we meed d cleaned it ourselves mostly. The great things about the place were the views, calm waters, and some of the best snorkeling. This was our 4th trip to Lutra and our second stay at this house. We love the location for its proximity to some of our favorite beaches. For us it’s all about snorkeling and there are many good spots near by. The house and pool are very nice. Plenty of linens, toiletries, and cooking utensils. Grocery store is less than 2 miles away. My only complaint is that the house wasn’t nearly as clean as last year and that nobody was there to greet us upon arrival to answer any questions.

Incredible place for our group of 8! And you will not find a better property manager. We came with a group of eight and this place has something for everyone. The location was perfect. It felt like we were on our own private island. The amenities were exactly what our family needed. The tide pools had incredible sea life. The snorkeling was fantastic (and all the equipment was provided). Early in the mornings, our family, loved to take kayaks, paddle boards, and the canoe out on the consistently pristine, beautiful, and calm waters that were right in the backyard. We used the pool every single day (be mindful some of the edges of the pool stairs are a bit sharp). Desmond was the best property manager. He gave us great suggestions of areas to visit, brought our boys a fishing cage that we used to catch fish for breakfast, and even brought us an island dessert one evening. The cabana had the most beautiful views...goodness everyplace did (the dock, the pool, the screened room, even the gathering room and kitchen). We did lots of provided puzzles, movies every night (big selection). Kids room was great for our four children (the left screen had a small tear that let bugs in that we didn’t catch for a few days). Every day we went out and had experiences unlike anywhere we’ve ever been. Eleuthera has the most beautiful beaches we have ever seen. We used provided boogie boards at Surfer’s beach and the scurf board at Poponi beach (Poponi was recommended by Desmond and was our favorite beach of many we visited). Comber’s beach had so many shells and this property was so conveniently centralized to everywhere we wanted to go. Their was a store and island farm close by that had everything we needed. This year, we were looking for a getaway where we could truly turn off for a couple of weeks. Not be bothered by staff, neighbors, traffic and have the space and peace to restore. Savannah Sunset was an excellent solution.
We've been to Eleuthera a number of times before, so have had the opportunity to explore the island quite a bit. This time, we didn't even want pressure to leave the house, beyond rations, and this property delivered. I spent a lot of time floating around in the lovely infinity pool. My husband enjoyed taking the kayak out. We had a couple of windy days where we sat in the palapa and enjoyed the waves breaking around us. And, the sunsets from this location are genuinely spectacular.
There was a bit of an issue one day with the water pump, but the house manager came right over to assess the situation, quickly purchased a replacement part, and was able to fix it within a couple of hours.
The house is about 10 mins from Palmetto Point where you can get delicious BBQ from 3Js (sign up for their whatsapp notifs when you arrive), and Mate & Jenny's pizza. There's a new (to us) market just 5 mins south, so you no longer have to drive up to Governer's Harbour for groceries. Although, you can get to GH for more stores and restaurants in under 20 mins.
I will note that it wasn't entirely clear to me that you don't walk out to the pool directly from the house. It's accessed via a side door and around and down one smaller and one longer flight of stairs. This wasn't an issue for us, other than a bit of a trek for another Kalik, but I imagine it might not be ideal for families with children within a certain age range. As with all island homes other than completely brand new builds, there is some rust around the edges. And, speaking of new builds, there are now two right next door. No one was there for most of our stay, but there is the possibility of neighbors.

This is my family's 4th trip to Eleuthera. We loved this home. Great location, great home, awesome pool, and beautiful sunsets. The home was clean and well equipped. Just about anything you could imagined for kitchen amenities. Two master bedrooms, kitchen, and living space upstairs and a huge bedroom and entire living space downstairs. Downstairs is capable of sleeping 6 comfortably and also has a seperate living area with plenty of room for the kids to play and watch tv and hang out. There is a new home right beside Savannah Sunset, but the home is still private as it is seperated by bushes and hedges. This home still feels like you are on a secluded beach. Plenty of outside toys to use (kayaks, paddle board, snorkeling equip). The only real negative that was not a real issue to us because our kids are older is the rocky bottom directly off of the dock. You have to go out in chin deep water to find a sandy bottom. This wasn't an issue for my family. We just wore sandals, water shoes, flip flops when we swam at the home. I could see that this may be an issue for smaller children if you want a sandy beach for them to play. The pool is a great place to take in the sunsets in the evening. The location of the home near Palmetto Point is a great location. Very convenient to get anywhere on the island. We love Central and South Eleuthera because it is less crowded than the Spanish Wells area. Overall, this home is amazing. Eleuthera is an amazing place. My family and I will be back.

This house is ideal for a large family or even two smaller families (two masters, bunk room and basement living room)- excellent kitchen with all the necessary cooking materials. The house has filtered water. The house has NO spices/oils/etc, we brought most of this from the US. We also followed a recommendation on the website & brought frozen meat & dried goods in cooler (we saw other coolers in the baggage area too). Meat is VERY expensive. The road to the house is rough, but all roads off the main are (the island is made of limestone, and this creates potholes). There is a great grocery in Savannah Sound and a little market to buy alcohol. The prices here were some of the best on the island. We landed on a Sunday and stopped north of gov harbor at a store that was open. The Island farm next door is EXCELLENT. They also sell other provisions, including milk, wine, beer, and the Tues/Fri homemade bread day is not to be missed (Stock up!), the cinnamon rolls are amazing too. Fishbone was a great restaurant nearby, Ten Bay was our favorite beach, protected from wind too (starfish and Sand dollars). Snorkeling was excellent right from our house. We used the snorkeling gear at the house (lots of fins, bring your own goggles/moiuthpiece), they also have paddle boards, kayaks, life vests, bikes, etc. We didnt find any problem with the sea floor, as you dont touch when wearing flippers. It is not particularly rocky. The rocks on the shore are sharp (again solid limestone), so wear Tevas or flip flops and its fine. The pool was great and the screen porch was key. Lots of dvd’s, kid supplies (pack n play, etc). Perfect house

Our crew of 3 couples had an incredible week at Savannah Sunset! The location was great for us, close to a grocery store, 15 min from Governors Harbour, and we even spent several days on the north end and didn’t mind the drive. The road to get there is not bad at all and not far off the main. The house was clean and well stocked on arrival. We quickly jumped in and started snorkeling, saw lobsters, grouper, plenty of other fish just off the dock! We used the paddle boards daily and pool floats. Our first night we ate at 1648– loved, highly recommend! Day2 we drove up north and did a trip with TyMan Fishing charter and Adventures— HIGHLY recommend!! Swam with turtles, stingrays, dove for lobster, saw the swings, visited the pigs, had homemade lobster rolls. It was amazing! They take pictures all day that are incredible and we will cherish forever. That night we had Devaughn Sweeting come over and cook for us. Very reasonable cost & food was delicious! So relaxing to be able to hang at the house and have him take care of everything. We wish we would have done another night with him! The next day we explored several beaches nearby. Ten bay is super close to the house and one of our favorites! The house has beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. This was really nice! We did a day fishing with Fishbone tours and also had lunch at their bar and grill. We even saw a whale on our fishing charter, so cool! Their food and service was great. It is super close to the house as well. It is owned by a local artist who is incredible and so part of our group did a sip and paint one night with bottomless rum punch ��. They do this every Monday. Tuesdays they do a salsa night. We spent a day on Harbour Island which was fun to see. Dinner Tuesday at Buccaneer club with live music was great! Also did Twin cove beach (another favorite!) and lobster dinner at the house the last night. The perfect trip! We’ll be back!

The home that we rented: savannah Sunset was absolutely fabulous! there was plenty of room and all of the bedrooms had wonderful mattresses and lovely decor. The sun porch (screened-in) was great for the morning and sunsets. The location and the view were spectacular! The road to get to the home was a little challenging as it is dirt and many potholes, however the home a the end was a treasure.

An amazing place to stay for the week. Pam and Desmond were always available for us when we had questions, both were very responsive and super nice and helpful.
The house was great, beautiful views and the sunsets were amazing. The kayaks, snorkels, the pool, and easy access into the water was just perfect for our group. The location was beautiful. It is very isolated. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle boards on the ocean. We used snorkeling equipment and boogie boards. There were plenty of kitchen utensils for anything you need to cook. The management staff was very helpful. Our only complaints were: The screen porch was nice to sit in but tears in the screens let in nosiums and we got some bites! The water pressure was poor and took quite a long time to get hot water but I suspect this is how it is on the island. Overall this place is great.

The island of Eleuthera was exactly what we were looking for in a vacation that offers adventure and comfort. There are so many amazing beac and the kitchen has everything we have at home. The lower level kids rooms had tons of movies and games and offered the adults some peace and quiet at night. The pool was great and a must-have given the rapid change in the water conditions from day-to-day. They do need to add the railing around the pool asap though. It's dangerous for small children because it's a 6 foot drop onto rocky ground. The water is beautiful and you can fish and snorkel right off the dock. They have tons of snorkeling gear too. Virginia, the housekeeper, is there in a flash if you need anything. Our washing machine broke and she had a new one there the very next day. The porch is great but you need to use bug spray because the tiny "no-see-ums" can get in. The wifi worked well if you need it, but we tried not to use our phones. There's a new supermarket 5 mins away that has everything. Call Paul Petty if you want to snorkel nearby or you'll have to drive an hour and half north to get a guide. You can go without a guide though all over the island. Governor's Harbor is 20 mins away has great restaurants and a liquor store. You can buy liquor closer though at the Island Farm 5 mins away. The communication with the realty company was fantastic and they answered all 10,000 of my questions before we booked. We loved our stay and would definitely go back in a second.

Savannah Sunset is a beautiful home. The owners have thought of everything. We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was spotless, the pool, Gazebo and views are amazing. The island is also beautiful and with the house centrally located, exploring the island was easy. The grocery store located 5 minutes from the house is very well stocked including fresh vegetables. We were 2 families staying in the house. The home was absolutely perfect for us and we will be staying here again in the future. Both the master suites on the upper floor has an en suite bathroom and the most comfortable beds. The AC was cold in the whole house. Every kitchen gadget and utensil you can imagine, even a margarita machine! The lower floor for the kids had a huge game room with a bedroom fit for 6. The sofa was large enough for the 2 to sleep if they wanted. The home also had everything you need for your beach excursions. Beach bags, towels, umbrellas, snorkel gear, fishing gear -- you don't need to bring or rent anything. The outdoor Escape Areas of the Pool and the Dock were unbelievable. We spent many hours snorkeling, fishing and swimming in the Caribbean waters and then we would finish off most nights in the pool. We would turn off the lights to the pool so at night we would hang out and look at the Milky Way. We saw shooting stars, planets, a satellite or 2. The home is in a perfect location on the island as it is central and the beach hopping was easy. I think the trip to Lighthouse took around an hour as well as Harbor Island. Highly Recommend. 10 Stars.

There were so many positives of this property from its view of the ocean, the beautiful pool, to the inside of the house - I would say the pictures don't do it justice. Also, the furnishings of the house and especially the kitchen were wonderful. The one drawback is when we booked the house the pictures and the aerial photos didn't show a house being built within 50 feet. There were workers that arrived at 7-7:30 am and stayed until 4:30 pm every day. Our family tries to find places out of the way and we were very surprised and disappointed to find the "new" house so close. I would recommend this house to anyone but know that there is a house close by.

The house was roomy, beautiful, pool was amazing, the house was fully stocked for the most part with pots, pans, glass etc. Unfortunately we needed to buy alot of essentials like spices, including salt/pepper which they did have a very small amount available as well as coffee filters, we were given 1 role of TP per bathroom. There was also little mishap for the first few days as we did not have hot water, it was fixed the next day. Welcome book was not updated, but the amazing view made us forget about the small things. There were many beautiful beaches very close to the house, everything was a car drive away. It was also very nice to have a kayaks, paddle boards, beach chairs and towels available.
