Welcome to Allamanda, a luxurious 6-bedroom, 6-bath estate surrounded by beautiful historical homes in the heart of Harbour island. Allamanda is one block from the harbor, one block from the shopping center for groceries, wine, or souvenirs and a short 5-minute walk or 1-minute golf-cart ride to the Pink Sands beach.

Allamanda has been recently completely renovated to the highest standard. Amenities include a whole-house Reverse Osmosis system, deep water well, full estate back-up generator and estate-wide high-speed WiFi.

Arriving by water taxi to the Government Dock, it is a three-block journey along beautiful Bay Street to reach Allamanda. Once there, you will be greeted by a lushly gardened entrance way that leads into a natural limestone courtyard.

From the courtyard, you can either go up a set of stairs and take in the view from the rooftop living area, or continue on to the main outdoor living room that is the true center of the property. It’s the gathering place for afternoon lunch with an outdoor kitchen and 14-person dining table. It’s a resting area to watch TV on the plush built-in banquette or a spot to get some work done while lounging on the custom sofas and chairs. A few steps away is a fully appointed bar complete with a high-capacity ice maker. There is a half bath to serve this area.

This outdoor living space is how one accesses the rest of the villa. Just off the living space is the fully appointed kitchen, the heated private pool, the main house, and the stand-alone master suite.

Take a few steps west and you will be on the natural stone pool deck which is surrounded by umbrella shaded lounge chairs, a plush lawn and the 2-bedroom, one-bath pool house. Each bedroom in the pool house has a full bed.

The magnificent chef’s kitchen, luxuriously finished in granite and stainless steel, is also accessed from the outdoor living space. It is equipped with top-of-the-line Elextrolux Icon appliances including a built-in column refrigerator-freezer, gas range, dishwasher, and many small appliances.

Walking back to the living space, you can then enter the main house, tastefully decorated with custom furniture and artwork. On the bottom floor we have a full dining room that seats 10, a very comfortable living room with a TV, and a bedroom with twin beds and an en-suite bath.

Going up one of the two opposing staircases, you can access either of the two upstairs bedrooms privately. Both have queen beds, en-suite bathrooms and private balconies.

Heading back out to the outdoor living space, we can access the last part of the house, the master suite. Equipped with a king bed and an en-suite bath, it is discreetly located for maximum privacy and has a long list of amenities including an entertainment center and two luxurious showers inside and out .
