Overview & Photos
Welcome to Coral Point, a new (2019) oceanfront villa on the Caribbean Sea. Coral Point features sweeping ocean and sunset views from every room in the house, as well as from the oceanfront pool and patio.
Enter into Coral Point’s great room which looks out through an 8 foot sliding glass door at the pool and Caribbean Sea beyond. The living room is comfortably furnished with sofas and a flat screen TV. The dining area, with seating for eight around an elegant designer table, enjoys the same pool and ocean view. Behind it is the open-plan island kitchen, finished in quartz composite and stainless steel. The kitchen is fully equipped with cookware and appliances including microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, blender etc.
The great room also features a powder room and a laundry closet with washer and dryer.
Flanking the great room are two large bedroom suites, both sharing the same sweeping ocean views of the great room. One has a king bed and the other twin beds. Both have full en-suite baths with double sinks finished in cool, elegant travertine. The twin bedroom suite has a walk-in shower and a separate tub. The king bedroom has a walk-in shower.
The top floor of Coral Point is dedicated to the vast master suite. This room features a king bed, sitting area, and a large deck overlooking the pool and sea. The luxurious en-suite bath is equipped with a walk-in shower and large tub.
Outside, Coral Point’s large stone patio surrounds the pool and is furnished for lounging and dining. The pool and patio enjoy stunning ocean views. Just beyond is the oceanfront recreation area equipped with a dock perfect for swimming, fishing, snorkeling, and launching the kayaks. (It's not suitable for the overnight docking of a power boat.)
The snorkeling off the property is exceptional. Quoting from a recent guest: “We saw 10-15 rays each day, some of the most variety of colorful fish of any of our snorkeling locations--tangs, puffer fish, spiny lobster, crabs, huge angel fish, squirrel fish, parrot fish, live conchs, too many things to list.”
Amenities at Coral Point including AC throughout, WIFI, smart TV, washer/dryer, gas grill, and two kayaks.
Coral Point is located just a mile from Governors Harbour, Eleuthera’s main town. Governors Harbour has grocery stores, restaurants, liquor stores, two banks with ATMs, a bakery, gift shops, a dive shop, and a medical clinic. It has a nice little collection of 19th century homes and churches overlooking a picturesque harbor. You can buy fresh fish and lobster every afternoon from fisherman at the town dock. Friday night Fish Fry in Governors Harbour is a street/beach party that brings together all the tourists and locals with food, drink, and dancing in the street. You won’t want to miss it.
Upscale restaurants in the area include The Buccaneer (Bahamian cuisine with Caribbean-Chinese fusion), Tippy’s (international and fusion), La Bougainvillea (international cuisine), 1648 Restaurant (Bahamian cuisine inspired by European influences), Bacchus Fine Foods (gourmet restaurant and food store), Pascal’s at Sky Beach Club (International cuisine with Bahamian influences), and The Rainbow Inn (famous for its steaks and seafood). The above all have live music one or more nights a week, so there is live entertainment somewhere nearby almost every night. The Governors Harbour area also has numerous little takeouts and restaurants offering local cuisine, including Da Perk (coffee shop and sandwiches), Mate and Jenny’s (pizza and Bahamian), the Sunset Inn (local cuisine), and LeoRose Sunset Beach Bar and Grill (local cuisine, drinks, live music).
Governors Harbour airport is less than 15 minutes from the property. North Eleuthera Airport is one hour away. Non-stop flights are available from Atlanta, Miami, Charlotte, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Nassau.

We really enjoyed our time at Coral Point. It was an amazing private place to relax and get away from it all. The layout was perfect for a family of five - 2 adults and 3 teen children. The setting is one of a kind and one you have to see to believe. Our favorite thing to do each night was to go down to the dock and watch the sunset. We made a few suggestions on the amenities and the house to our concierge that would take it from excellent to amazing. A quick note - bring bug spray to deal with

Homes location was perfect! Quiet location! View was incredible. House was clean. It did need a lot of maintenance, had two windows we couldn’t open, front slider was very challenging to open and close, some cracks in walls, lots of weeds growing through patio cracks.
Didn't want to leave

The house has a great layout. We stayed with 2 other couples and everyone had there own space, but could come together in the middle of the house. The location was good as well, being in the middle of the island you could visit locations on the north and south end of the island without too long of a drive.
The view from the pool deck could be a screen saver, and the pool was perfect to relax in at the end of a day of exploring the island.
The house was clean and Sonya, the local manager for the ho

One word: Superb!!
The house is exactly as described and shown. We loved the early morning snorkeling followed by breakfast and coffee at the pool. Our stay was too short!

The house is beautifully located, and is spacious and comfortable. The dock needs some maintenance, e.g. steps are detached and on the sea bed, so more difficult for the oldest of our group to get in and out. Main issue was the local concierge: they did not turn up for the meet-and-greet appointment which they had asked for, the third bedroom was not made up at all, with bedsheets available, and it was more difficult to get hold of them because the wifi network name and password had both been changed. Our group of 7 were very comfortable! There were a few inquiries but they were dealt with right away once we reached out to the property manager. Very accommodating clean environment. A few hiccups along the way regarding the air conditioning but someone was there within the hour to rectify the matter. At night there isn’t much lighting coming down the hill and we were cautious about putting out the garbage due to stray dogs. Overall we enjoyed our stay and will definitely look forward to staying her

The house is lovely, perfect for three adult couples. We enjoyed being close to Governor's Harbor but kayaking on "our bay" was always deserted. Good snorkeling right off the dock. The best fish are close to the rocks (blue tang, angelfish, grouper, fairy basslet and lots of neons).Green turtle and rays out in the open water. Swimming pool was nice to lounge around in before and after beach, kayaking ad snorkeling trips.

We enjoyed our stay at Coral Point. The house was clean and Sonya, the property manager was very responsive to any questions or concerns. The tide was rough during our stay so we weren’t able to make use of the dock or kayaks or snorkeling from the dock. You will need to drive to get to a beach. We explored the island instead and found beautiful beaches all over. It is a good central location on the island to explore both north and south. The power did go out several times a day.
