Cotton & Coconuts is a 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home located on Lookout Road in Rainbow Bay. The view looks out over the Atlantic Ocean. The house is a 2-minute walk to Come N Go Beach. Steps leading up to a screened lanai invite you to the front entrance.
Entering the home, the focal point is the spiral staircase to the cupola, which has spectacular views of the North Atlantic. This luxurious home has tile throughout and mini-split a/c units in the main area and in every bedroom.
Bedrooms include the master with a king size Tempur-Pedic mattress, with a full en suite bath. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are furnished with queen pillow top mattresses and share a full bath. Decorated with Island flair, this beautiful home is furnished with all the conveniences. The living area has queen size sofa bed with a 4" memory foam topper, flat-screen TV with Roku, and wireless internet.
The modern chef's kitchen has a granite island with 4 swivel bar chairs. Stainless steel appliances in the kitchen include a French door refrigerator with water/ice maker on front, a ceramic stove top/oven with hood microwave, and dishwasher. The dining area features a 60' glass table with 4 comfortable chairs. Another high top dining table with 4 chairs is located on the screened lanai.
There is an Island shower with hot and cold outside on the ground floor for your convenience. Please rinse off here before going inside.
Located on the first floor is the laundry room, where the 1/2 bath is located, as well as stacked Maytag washer and dryer with utility sink.
Our water is collected and purified through an advanced closed cistern filtration/uv light system. Each faucet throughout the house is connected to this system. If water levels are ever low (never have been) in the cistern, we are connected to the Queens Hwy water, which also will flow through our specialized filtered system. This is a paramount solution to having fresh safe water on an island.
Within walking distance is Come N Go Beach, you can easily carry what you need for the day. On more adventurous days, when heading out, there are several beaches in the neighborhood of Rainbow Bay: Hidden Beach, Smugglers Beach, Twin Beach and Rainbow Bay Beach just to mention a few.
We have full access to Rainbow Bay's oceanfront tennis court. Beside it is the Rainbow Inn, with fine dining, a full bar, and live entertainment.
Amenities at Cotton and Coconuts include air conditioning, WIFI, Roku TV, DVD player with video library, an outdoor gas grill. Equipment in the house includes snorkel gear, beach chairs, and cooler.

quite pleasant and mostly effortless. Only issue(s) was the contant power outages, one lasting 10 1/2 hours and no coffee expresso machine ( a minor, minor issue). House was more than adequately supplied and well furnished, quiet. Area lacks any decent restaurants and the local grocery store is a 4 minute drive away.

We are glad you enjoyed your stay! Normally power outages are not a significant problem on the island, but unfortunately there was a fire in the Hatchet Bay electrical plant that week, and so there were widespread power outages. But that is not the norm! There are a dozen excellent restaurants in central Eleuthera, but the island is rural and spread out, and you do have to drive to get to them all.

We can't say enough about the wonderful week we spent at C&C. The house was everything the pictures show and more. It is very well equipped and everything worked as it should. The owners, Rosie and Sam are terrific people. We wanted a Christmas house and they delivered. Rosie met us with a bottle of wine and cheese and it just kept going from there. The house was beautifully decorated for the seaon and is located so that you not too far from everything north central Eleuthera has to offer. This was our second visit and we wanted to see Spanish Wells and Harbour Island on this trip. Rainbow Beach is probably the nicest beach close to C&C,but there are so many others to explore. You need a car - preferably a 4WD if you want to get to some of the harder to reach beaches. There were masks and fins at the house which makes it nice if you don't have your own. There are stores and restaurants close by. The Rainbow Inn and Mel's Snack Shack both had good eats. The Big Rock General Store had a good selection and is close to C&C. The North Eleuthera Shopping Center is close to NE Airport and has the best selection. The closest thing you will get to Walmart on Eleuthera. We brought a lot of our food and cooked a wonderful Christmas dinner on the grill and in one of the best kitchens of any vacation home we have ever rented. The water from the tap was better than ours at home. The beds were general, nothing to complain about. The owners are easy to reach and go to great lengths to ensure Cotton & Coconuts has what you need while you relax or find adventure in Eleuthera.

We had a great stay at this property. The house is clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the screened in porch and watching the ocean in the distance. You can walk to the nearest Atlantic beach or it is a quick drive to the nearest Caribbean beach for a swim and calmer waters. Beach chairs are provided along with ample towels. The owners, property caretaker, and the rental agency were all quick to respond and helpful. I highly recommend!
