No More Covid Testing for Travel to Eleuthera Island!
Greetings, fellow Eleuthera Island Enthusiasts!
As you may know, the U.S. recently dropped its requirement that returning travelers have a negative COVID test. Starting this Sunday, June 19th, the Bahamamian government will no longer require fully-vaccinated travelers to get a COVID test to travel to the islands.
(Fully vaccinated is defined as two shots of a two-dose vaccine or one dose of a single-shot vaccine.)
Boosters are not required.
The Bahamas also no longer requires visitors to obtain a “health visa.”
Unvaccinated travelers ages 2+ will still be required to obtain a negative test, either PCR or antigen, taken no more than three (3) days prior to travel.
And this news comes at a great time: We have many NEW LISTINGS on Eleuthera island with summer & fall openings still available!
